WANTED (WILL TRAIN): NEW REFEREES FOR COMPETITIVE AND RECREATION LEAGUES
(REFEREES ARE PAID FOR OFFICIATING GAMES)
The Westerly Youth Soccer Association is responsible for developing a referee network that meets the needs of Soccer Rhode Island and Super Liga. To that end, we are actively seeking youth (12 years-old +) and adults. New referees should be familiar with the game, but need not be experts. Referees are paid on a per game basis. This is an excellent part-time position for Saturdays and Sundays which can help young people build self-esteem, leadership skills, and other core competencies that will serve them well beyond the soccer field - in school, in the community and in the workplace.Please Contact westerlysoccerorg@gmail.com if interested
